Weird is the ticking clock

It ticks all the time

But in happiest of moments

It forgets the rhyme

It ticks every season

But to quit?

It doesn't have a reason

It ticks hour by hour

Same for every person

Whether sweet or sour

Weird is the ticking clock

It ticks even in the wrong 

But at right time

Sings a melidious song

Weird is the ticking clock

It ticks, with no chaperone

Whoever tries to control it, 

Time shall not condone
