Clench To the Sky

The notion of freedom

Spans as the ocean

The open sky after the storm

Forces a box of smile on resistance

The bloom may hold out from the tree

But its honesty is in the roots deep beneath

Not that its true emergence sits

In contradiction to the notion of it

But unless the stride of freedom

Lures the mind into liberation

Why shall I not raise a fist for it?

A clench to the sky for the mind unbound
