Chronicles Of Our Youth

Herein I sit in the grassy fields,

Among the Flowers and the Butterflies,

And the Ladybugs.

The gentle wind lifting the grass in a slow dance,

And the trees whispering whilst Zephyrus brings Happy Spring with him.

Herein I sit in the grassy fields,

Looking over the horizon

As our memories of Youth

Start to fade away;

Like the orange sky fading into the moonlit night.

The Hills are calling and therefore

The Sun must go for the Moon to shine.
