Chronicles of coffee

The dark contour, a perfect nature and best brew for a treat,

A patterned gloss as a veil on the aromatic trove beneath.

A mug of coffee arranged with a mystery book on my lap,

The perfect stir, secrets spilled, breaking the lazy nap.

A sip of evoking aroma awakens miracles in the snoozing brain,

An entangled mind and distressed soul releases the part-time pain.

Neither you are an instant God, nor a filtered coffee,

Neither you are assigned to make the entire world happy.

Life's too short to hold an average brew,

But the beans need to be gleefully grounded by the coffee crew.

Steaming coffee on the table, an open book in my hand,

A steady arm-chair on the sparkling silver sand.

A committed amour with coffee, and a rush at the coffee shop,

The basic brewing rule is bottoms up, untill the last drop.

A talk mug, dark brew and a handsomely setting Sun,

Getting hit by the strong brew, to put me on a run.

Classic brew, deep converse with some random friends,

The chronicles of a captured soul in a mug, never to end.

Or just a solitary brew, with no partners in crime,

Do not disturb, please wait, it's my coffee time.
