Christmas Snowing

I thought I saw you, hidden away

in the red and green blur of light

like the way of the games you like to play

invisible within sight -

whether I am so to you, or you to I

I no longer try to understand those lies

and like snow on the beach

you are weird, bizarre, out of place

you shouldn’t be here

I am aware of so

but it’d truly be a Christmas miracle

writing this is quite satirical

when I know how it already ends

you didn’t come

you never did

and like snow on the beach

I just wish to experience you once

it’s weird but not wrong
