Children Of The Night

We are the children of the night

Hidden away from the Keeper's light

We walk in alleys, dark and long

Hiding from the dark man's song

He comes at night to steal us away

Singing in the shadows, hoping we stray

And if we do, or so they tell us

He'll eat us after tearing our dress

Some of us have also heard,

That the dark man is a wizard

That he steals child eyes inside his cave

And makes the blinded child his slave

There also is a tale in the air-

The stolen children, he does spare

Makes them into a beautiful mold

And to the animals, they get sold

We are the children of the night

Perhaps, the dark man will find us tonight

As we walk to our hut at nightfall

May the Keeper look after us all
