Change
By Monica
Change is a perilous thing
It brings, snatches, toss you in the places
By the time you make sense of it
It will be the time to move on to the next scene.
Everything goes, it flows
From your hands like a rainfall
What remains is the ashes and memories
Lamenting and sniffles in the silences
Cause at one point you are told to get over it
But you can’t move even a bit.
Change is a perilous thing
It crushes you when resist it
Turns you into a demon if you accept it
You don’t ask a question, easy bait for time
It devours you slowly, bites and bites
Chew your heart out till you give up and cry
I am looking for an unanswerable answer
Each morning in the faces of my tribe
How long do I have to remain in this place
Before I get thrown into a another phase?
Change is a perilous thing
In its absence our life would be incomplete
Absurb pause, no plot
It’s not the beginning or the end
Its the journey between the two parts
You either stay on the cliff or land on the foot
Its the anxiety during the fall that kills you.
Life is same
People only see opening and closing scene
Rarely peep at the miles you run, how many times you have bleed
Going back and forth between human and fiend
Escaping from Insanity
Stopping it from becoming your reality
You go through it by the force of the nature
No gravitational pull is strong enough to stop the change.
