Chalk and charcoal - Monochromes

Notes are in pure white, when black is the board,

A black dot screams loud when placed on a white board.

One is mysteriously dark, other is like a pure light,

There's something poetic about black and white.

On a white canvas, you cannot smear white on a white,

No need for a hueful palatte, for an eyeful sight.

Endowing shades to the spotless white, paint up the dark night,

Create a painting of a life, gifted to us in black and white.

White is real, when created for an innocent lies,

While black enhances the beauty of the pretty eyes.

White is never loud, yet sparkles like a truth,

Black in it's definite bold, captures the wandering youth.

When hues are loud, add some white to alter the ego of colours,

Paint a rainbow in the skies of life when the black clouds threaten to thunder.

Black and white with no complex, are like harmony in piano keys,

It's either pure white or just black, with no shades to tease.

Hope and despair symbolises solace in white and black,

A dapper look in tuxedo on whites, and black tie on the neck.

White squares and the black ones, create a game for the grand masters,

White swan not so plain and black one has no alters.
