Celestial
By Rudra Pagar
From the big bang, across the lawless space, through wormholes, black and now back, evolving through epochs on our hind legs. The courage in our spines, across supereons, now mangled with stardust and blood running amok. Our pilgrimage to the heavens is predefined, beginning with the stars in our lineage we are the devils with our own details.
A miracle
like the iron
which is only naturally produced in one place.
it's only forged in the core of dying stars.
every time you look at your blueish veins,
remember what you are built from,
and kept alive by,
from those very iron atoms incorporating as hemoglobin,
coursing through your blood,
pieces of stardust.
