Can you see the light afar?

How the others hurt each other while

No stranger am I to harming the rest.

Did you know that I am the reason

The spring flowers up north,

The daisies down south,

Sprout new life, bloom to wither?

No, I regret nothing, I only

Regret that I hadn't done it all sooner.

Can you see the destruction far away yet breathing close?

All of which had been burnt through and through.

Are they so angry to burst into flames?

So miserable, to leave innocents in ashes?

If you are fortunate enough to visit that place,

And if man-made hellfire spares you,

Their ashes will become flesh, blood and bone.

In front of you, they'll reconstruct themselves.

Their pure of skin and their former of face.

They'll talk to you, listen to you, and laugh with you,

Wait until you're done.

Slowly, they'll pull you closer,

Your feet aflame, and you just let it be.

Your eyes are melting, yet there's more to see.

Now there you stand, amongst the cruelty of man

You are the consequences and soon to be the cause.

Finally, the way found that you once lost.

But unsatisfied, you ask:

"Can you see the light afar?”
