Can Reality Beat Imagination

Treading along the meandering path, I beheld a glistening jewel

Close look -it is a chrysalis, whose time had come

It was unfurling painfully, slowly

But my mind’s eye worked faster, as each color unfolded

Creative thoughts worked out, patterns and patterns

Miniscule views of how it’s going to be

It was picture perfect, the mind is great!

I expected no anticlimax; I had a picture of the butterfly in my heart

I was wrong

Now it is almost done

It beats my imagination,

The imago is more colorful,

Bigger and better than I could have possibly imagined

My imagination is put to shame

Our campus is indeed beautiful
