Can I Simply Be Me, Again?

Can I just freeze, momentarily though,

And go back to where

I thought of slamming the door,

The day I thought

Enough of patience, break the calm,

Can I just unlock the pain?

Open my arms?

Just embrace innocence again..

Let humility and tranquility take all over me again,

Can I simply be me again?
