Entry 1
But can I really leave…
Tears shed
Blood bled
I yearn for the monster underneath the bed
Broken jaw
Writhing on the floor
God help me, I cannot take it anymore
137 women every. Single. Day
137 women who couldn’t get away
137 asks - why did she decide to stay
Black eyes
Stifled cries
Time to work on those alibis
10 years of isolation
10 years the brunt of his frustration
10 years of thrashings followed by his consolation
A rib cracked
A suitcase packed
A promise to myself that I’m never coming back
Breath that smells like whiskey
Punches raining down in fury
“I’ll. Kill. You. If. You. Ever. Try. To. Leave.”
