Bury Me Butt Naked

Bury me butt naked

Bury me straight in the dirt

Leave me as I arrived

Naked and screaming (birthday suit and wails)

Leave no coffin, no clothing, no chemical

The worms do not need a layer between them and my skin

Let them crawl through my eye sockets

And pick at my bones

Let my plasma become the earth again

My blood become ground water

And my organs twist into the roots of trees, let my carbon return to the core

Bury me butt naked

Or don’t bury me at all

Better yet

Throw my corpse in the ocean

Let my skin soak off

And tuna eat my toes

Throw my corpse in the ocean

Let me feed what we have starved

Let octopi scalpel my brain, like so many brothers they lost to the shore

Let coral claw at my muscles, I have no use for them anymore

I know better than to swim with dolphins

A last wish, you could call it, throw me to the blue

Let the tides push my carcass,

I am now one with the moon

And if that isn’t enough

Which it won’t be

Burn me alive

Salem witch trials all over again

They say karma is a Bitch

Let the oxygen i so desperately crave fuel my fire

Let me be the enigma

The eternal burning of Moses’s shrub

Let gods salvation be proven through my charred esophagus

Let my vocal cords twist in pleasurable terror, and the smoke

Burn me alive

Let me choke on the blisters

Let the 3rd degree be a few steps behind

Burn me alive

Turn me unrecognizable

Teeth and bones all that’s left

Burn me alive

Let my heart go first and my head go last

Burn me from the inside out

Turn my pink insides to black

The picket wooden fences be painted in my pancreas

The wind can carry my fire to the eyes of every person on earth

Let my feminine rage and my masculine desperation reach all ears that will listen

Let my lifeline call the air back, leave a voicemail

Burn me alive

Or be burned

Hand my ashes to the wind

Wish flowers & eleven-eleven

Hand my ashes to the wind

Pollen and poppy seeds both the reason mom cries

“I only ever tell little lies”

Hand my ashes to the wind

Rumplestiltskin 3 times

Beautiful brown eyes

Broken butterfly wings wont fly

Hand my ashes to the wind

Bird song and birch seeds sail alongside

Sea salt and gasoline and I - intertwined

Hand my ashes to the wind

Charred feathers and dwindling embers

Phoenix fires left to sizzle out

Hand my ashes to the wind, fly me away

Did I ever really belong here anyway?

Draft of cold air in the bleating sun

The world is heating,

We’re almost done

Throw me in the ocean

Set my body aflame

Give me back to the elements from where I once came
