Brothers and Sisters

Siblings sharing a bond of life,

Dangling through memories and love with no conditions.

Holding dearly to threads of time

Sharing gleams of lessons in love.

No day to celebrate just us,

Brother, sister, friend and family.

Alas, our connections are innate,

From womb to playmate.

Tracing stars in the night sky,

Counting numbers on car-plates.

The games were endless,

With building blocks, trains on rails and books galore.

A confidante in times of trouble.

A partner in tales of yester years.

A cheerleader in times of glory,

A blood kinship like no other.

What a mighty strength we bore,

Through prayer, love, loyalty and so much more.
