Broken Friendships

Some strangers unexpectedly become a huge part of our life

With a package of love, memories and fun in rife

A pure and strong bond of friends like family,

Being a co-passenger on the life’s roller coaster happily

A wind so strong once blew away this pyramid of friendship

Which shook the foundation of trust and a forever partnership

Despite of numerous attempts to rebuild the same bond,

The insecurity of believing it to not be broken again was beyond

People who were once each other’ lifeline have now become strangers

Making the communication on being missed endangered

The lighter the heart felt in their presence,

Have turned to be the heaviest of memories in their absence

A breakup in friendship burns the soul from within,

Making it difficult to let a new person get close therein

It is important to realize what has possibly gone wrong and make peace to move on

Because life doesn’t stop without somebody and the show must go on.
