Bricks

Updated: Jul 8, 2025

I’m clawing at the bricks

Can’t you see me reach out

I don’t feel the pain now

I’m stuck in the cloud of doubt

‘Cause I was a naïve little girl, in the ironed shirt

With those pigtails out, Euphoric world

Took a little push

Now I’m outside the border

I miss my innocence

Now that I’m older

Hold me tight, I want to drift away

In hindsight, I don’t know what to say

I’m clawing at the bricks

Can’t you see me reach out

I don’t feel the pain now

I’m stuck in the cloud of doubt

I need your hand

Pull me out of this quicksand

I need your hand

Help me.
