With black bags under my eyes,

To the click of the door

Focus shifted

To the section across

Spotted someone

Dressed tip -top all along

Creating a heaven in my mind

Stunning were his looks

Making my eyes brighten up

For that man was BREATHTAKING ,

Should have recognized who it was

Not everyone could give this vibe

To the special person I have

Or I had .

Though he might not know how I felt

But definitely made me cry

Pierced my heart right through

The soft spot I had

Once there was a time

Wanted to mark you mine

Hesitated

Still wanted to know my feelings

So, slipped my hand into yours

Unlucky me , someone had already

Captured your heart

Leaving me regret my timing

As you slipped your hand into your girl’s hand

With the loving look reflected

In your eyes

Times I remember

Warming myself sitting near you

Now you warm her with the love

Stirring my mind

With actions and words of yours

By waving goodbye

At the end of day

Complicated things even more

Like your slowly pulling out

Oxygen from my lungs

Until I’m short of breath .

Like a blindfold dropped

To manifest the illusion

Drowning deep I was

Gasping for breath
