So this is what it's like

To not be drowning

This breath of fresh air

Is truly confounding

I take in the world

As thoughts flow with ease

Got enough wind in my lungs

To do what I please

I can't stop but notice

That I really can breathe

Air rushing in and out

Like it's supposed to be

To think this is nature

For those whose bodies haven't failed them

These unacquirable minimums

I wish I could claim them.
