Break The Cage

By Poornima Saini

Bird with a broken wing wants to fly,

Should have patience or should it try.

Death is near, but it don't want to die,

A man heals its wound, it sees the sky.

It paid the gratitude, but don't want to fly,

Human house feels good, it forgets the sky.

Loved the food and warmth as months passed by,

One day it saw many birds in the sky.

Home seems like a cage, that day it cry,

Now it wants to leave, but forgot how to fly.

Above Creative Writing Concept Explained

During college, most people want to get a secure and stable job. They work endlessly for it. Eventually when they get that job, they begin to realize it was never their dream to be an engineer, doctor, chartered accountant, lawyer etc.

They get drained easily now at their work and want to escape from this reality. With the expectations and norms of society, friends and family, this pile of frustration is a burden on their shoulder. We are feeded by the world with their so-called principles, that now when we wanna fly away and escape, we have forgotten the dreams and imaginations we had when we were miles away from their hopes.

Don’t stop yourself from getting what you always wanted from your life, you still have time to chase your dreams. You wanna fly the sky then go and get out of this cage and get your freedom cause this world can’t stop you anymore.
