Bread and butter.

Let me eat this bread and butter,

Whilst working to make my own bread and butter.

I sit alone in my room facing the ceiling speaking to myself without a stutter.

Talking about all the ways I envision getting myself out the gutter.

Should anyone walk past they would think I am a nutter.

And yet many look me in my eyes and take the same sentiments.

All the same, these hands feed my mouth not theirs.

Theirs when I can, often they desire for when they believe I should.

Stand ten toes firm, in not wanting to be understood.

Got it.

From who? From you.

For you.

Like that bread and butter in your hands,

While having the one in your head.
