Human brain

Bane or boon

Thinking deeply

Might make one swoon

Simple life

Simpler worries

Had the brain

Been much at ease

But it started

With the wheel

And ever since

Everything’s uphill

Working overtime

It creates a hype

And always wants

A better life

Never is it satisfied

Wishes get multiplied

And when not as desired

Life feels contrived

On the other hand

The simple beings

Live a life

With no regret feelings

They don’t pressure

Their brains much

And are happy

With life as such

Simple brain

Simpler tasks

Just eat and sleep

A few cries and laughs

No school to attend

No exam to pass

No career to shine

No lifestyle to surpass

So would our life

Be better then

Without the brain

To entertain ?
