i am the one you have been waiting for

the living one, born this way

in the frame of the ancestors

I keep my face straight facing the future

a generation voice calling in my direction

by a step in front of the other

I put my feet forward

here I am

deep traces in the palm of our hands

like depth of spots in the skin of leopard

lashes carve into the secret of time

etched in the mystery of our ways of life

for preservation of the identity of who we are

cradled in crafts rooted in tradition

as handed forward by the keepers before us

feel the pull that is between us

one great power thundering along

it is in the fire of the stars

that pattern our lives

showing us through the cosmo path

a message woven in the verses of divine

understood only until we ask why
