Body Insecurity

Look in my mirror

Touch me around my neck.

It's the place I used to hate

Let's take it a little lower

With your hands around my folds

It's something

I adore

Only till the t-shirts on

Look at my thighs

There's just too much of it

That I don't love

And don't even talk about my female parts

They aren't desirable. Or so I've been taught.

Leave my appearance be

Looking inside me.

There's rudeness and the way I never leave

There's a maturity even worse a kid

Who nobody sees.

I don't like what I see.

Look in my mirror

And maybe you'll be able to see.

I'm not as scared as I used to be

Yet.. There's too much of me

That

I don't want to be.
