Born with the Sun

And with the Moon

Marked as each other's

They shared the same mother

And shared the same boon.

Two sisters connected in stars

Vowed to stay together

Till they grow old.

Today, sister you stand

At the end of the aisle

With your groom on the other

As you walk towards love.

I am still standing

With my feet in the sand

To grow old all alone.

This sand rushes into the sea

And the waves of age

They make me falter, sister

The courage I had in me

When I had you

Left me with you.
