Biscoff (Not the Biscuit)

I named him Biscoff, don’t ask me why

I just love the flavor, couldn’t deny.

He came in ginger, warm like spice,

too cute to question, not very nice.

Pink little paws kneading dough,

then knocking things off nice and slow.

He kisses my nose with a freezing muzzle,

then strolls away before I get a snuggle.

He scratches my notes demanding attention,

then sits on my desk, my favorite distraction.

Every night he begs outside my door,

then comes in, ignores me even more.

One second cuddles, next he’s gone,

like affection has a timer on.

He purrs so sweet while fast asleep,

then attacks my face while I try to sleep.

I pet him once, he’s calm and sweet,

then “too much personality” hits and I get bit.

He meows at my chair, I stand and obey,

he sits down slowly like “good, go away”.

I swear I’m the owner, that much is true

but he’s the one deciding what I do.

And if you’re still confused at the end of this line…..

Yes

in fact,

he is a ginger feline.
