Oh Mother Earth, beloved and wise,
For gifts unspoken and endless skies,
You cradled us with gentle hands,
Blessed us with sunlit seas and lands.
Yet how have we returned your grace?
With careless acts that leave a trace—
We trample beauty, scars unfurled,
Our arrogance wounds your gentle world.
We drown your spirit with our haste,
Plastic winds and toxic waste.
Blindly lost in selfish dreams,
Ignoring your rivers and broken streams.
Oh Mother, forgive our reckless ways,
For apathy darkens all our days.
We saw your forests, strong and vast,
Reduced to fragments fading fast.
We promise now, with souls contrite,
To nurture life, protect the light.
Not through sacrifice or hollow vows—
But daily change—beginning now.
No longer shall we poison land
With thoughtless waste from heedless hand.
We’ll cherish every living thing—
From blade of grass to bird on wing.
With mindful hearts, we’ll seek repair,
To show at last we truly care.
Thank you, Mother, for all you've made—
Guide us to heal the harm we've laid.
Forgive our past, inspire our days,
Help us renew our careful ways.
For through your patience, hope is grown—
A brighter world, by love alone.
