BEYOND THE BLOOM

They look at her and think she is soft,

A flower to hold, or a breeze in the air.

They miss the mountain that stands up aloft, The strength in her spirit, the fire she bears. They call her a whisper, a thing they can tame, But they don’t see the iron inside of her heart. She isn't a shadow; she’s the light and the flame, The one who can finish what they cannot start.

Do not be fooled by her quiet display,

She is the anchor when life starts to storm. She builds up the world in her own steady way, Keeping it safe, keeping it warm.

When people underestimate all she can reach, They forget that a spark is the start of a fire. She is the lesson that they will never teach, The strength that keeps rising, higher and higher.

She is not a thing that can be told what to be, She is the river that knows its own way.

She carries her burdens, yet she remains free, Getting stronger and bolder with every new day. To challenge her power is to challenge the light, She is the person where new futures begin. She does not fear the shadows or the dark of the night, She is the one who is destined to win.

So let them underestimate if they must, They walk on the ground that she holds in her hand. She is the force that rises from dust,

The strongest foundation in all of the land. She is the beginning, the heart, and the plea, The river that flows till it meets with the sea. A woman’s true strength is a force like no other, She is the power, the maker, the mother.
