Skylight, skylight... where do you gleam?

Tenebrous shades are all around me.

Embrace my soul in your threads of gold,

before the moonless void shrouds nightfall.

Enough I've had of the silent whispers from the abyss.

Mighty sun, your auric brightness lies too far from my reach.

O flare of the heavens... you have to breathe again,

to eradicate gloom with your glow.

O radiant dawn... you must rise again,

to let the shadows know your glow.
