Better Friends

You've got better friends ,

friends you'd choose over me

Because in the end ,

It's always them not me

I have been hurt before,

And I know how the pain it feels... Now I'm numb and sore ,

You won't even see me bleed

If I had a wish for Christmas,

I wonder what it would be?

Maybe for a friend whose better, A friend who will always stay for me My heart has no hope ,

No hope for this life

It fears no one can care ,

As much as it tries

I was alone , I will be ,

I don't want to change,

Better i stay the same

So that loving is hard ,

And pain is a game

I hoped for a smile ,

A real one for once

But guess that time ,

Was never mine to come

Don't come too close ,

I might cut too deep

And it might hurt ,the way you did to me
