That touch which had me tremble,

Now a distant memory.

Oh how I long for that connection again,

Those were just illusions that had fooled me,

That surreal maybe.

Maybe- that had my eyes blinded,

And my mind fazed.

Was it only in my mind?

But it felt so real,

It felt like a betrayal.
