Best Friend?

It didn't hurt me when you called me names.

It didn't hurt me when you laughed at me instead of laughing with me.

It didn't hurt me when you joked about my insecurities.

It didn't hurt me when you broke my promises and my heart.

But it did hurt when you treated "best friend" like a title and I treated it like an emotion.
