Behind The Tall Trees
By Kaushal Sha
Behind the tall trees, there is a boy standing in the cold;
he seems to have forgotten the way while running for the ball,
Behind the boy, there is a man standing in the cold,
he seems to have forgotten the way while running the whole day,
Wearing a half shirt and half pant, flat nose and cold face, O boy, he is quick,
Wearing a full shirt and full pant, flat nose and cold face, Oh man, he crawls into the rift.
Nothing stands in his way, nothing can stop his gaze;
The boy is the master of his way, drifted, but never shifted,
with conviction of conquering, he moves fearlessly
he can dive, he can fly, as for now he is unknown to his sphere
The man is in despair, his reach is confined to his sphere;
Nothing is ahead his way, he knows where he heads,
With knowledge he has grown weak, meek, and has nothing to seek,
his thoughts iterate a word, every day he sleeps under the same hearth,
but I stand in the midst of clouds, wearing a half shirt and long pant;
With cold face and flat nose, crushing alongside soothing and sharp wind.
