Before You Love Me

Before you love me, know that I am all broken,

There are scars and wounds which I carry all open…

That I haven’t got the love, which I always gave,

I have seen rejections and failures all the way…

Before you love me, know that I fear to trust,

Because there have been people who broke it…

They say I am an extremist, I over-love, I over-do….

But isn’t that rare..?.....How can love be done with limits?

I think I am an old school romantic stuck in the era of casual dating,

So, before you love me, know that I’m Broken but Beautiful!!
