Introduction :-

“I wrote this after holding a paintbrush again , afters years of believing I'd forgotten how to feel through colour.Becauseas the saying goes like - every artist has a season of silence but even in silence the roots remember the rains .This poem is about rediscovering the parts of ourselves we once thought were lost .”

This is a story of rediscovery - Autumn in her fingers.

After ages ,

a decade or perhaps centuries of silence .

It feels like a lifetime has passed since I last held a paintbrush ,

As if the little girl who once painted dreamshas quietly faded beneath grown up dust.

I thought I’d lost her , the one whosaw wonder within her bare hands .

Who painted sunlight wild across the skies, dreams spilling from colour to colour .

Who believed every colour has a soul,

the classroom glowed when her art teacher smiled like sunrise at her work.“ You have magic in your hand as if you see differently ”

Somewhere between the timeliness of duties and deadlines

The child who drew without fear , innocent.

the artist who breath through the colour , grew quite.

The magic faded quietly when life grows loud.

But today -

Admist the clutter of noise and half lived days , A song found her .

“ autumn days “ by morunas , soft and aching

Seeped through her chest like a sunset through old glass. Like a cage broke open

Something moved

In the golden hour,

The brush that once belonged to her youth .

Yet once again , The rhythm found her hand

Colour found her breath and she found her again .

Tears came - uninvited and honest , rolling down as colours met the canvas .

Welled up without a warning , gently on the palette each one simmered like a memory .

It felt deeply personal, Like the universe had stopped to watch her remember. The brush trembled, then flowed, As if it, too, had missed her. Every stroke became a heartbeat,

Every hue , a prayer of return.

Every motion, a breathe of forgiveness

By the time song faded , there was autumn in her fingers and warmth in her eyes -soft and luminous White canvas turned vibrant

Lillis bloomed , the forgotten garden breath again

Growing from the silence she once accepted

The artist was never gone-Only waiting

For one golden evening, To be found again
