Exploring the construction through light. Colour patches are nothing but paint for me here just to emphasise on my primary objective. The patches itself construct the body of the work. Treating the body of the model who has posed for this particular work as an object to be objectified, due to the nature of his work where he is least concerned about the product of his posing but is rather interested in earning his keep even though he is being stripped naked. Hence, if there is no Art in being stripped naked of your identity, then it is just vulnerability. We as a viewer are an active participant in objectifying this individual just by staring or interacting with this artwork. Medium of the work- Acrylic on Canvas. Size of the work- 5x4 feet.
