Name Of The Artwork: Persona Bliss Caption Of Artwork: What is a suit? Is it just a piece of clothing? Something we wear to cover ourselves up? Or is it something we wear to define who we are? To me, the very first piece of clothing we put on daily, our very first “suit” so to speak, is our own skin. The phrase “Be comfortable in your own skin” is actually something that inspired me to draw this. I’ve tried on many suits - the confident one, the perfectionist, the nerd, the artist, the worrier, the overthinker, and many more. Being comfortable in your own skin doesn’t mean being complacent, it’s being accepting. However, I think what we see doesn’t always indicate what we believe. To quote Thomas Fuller “Seeing is believing, but feeling is the truth”. It depends on what do you think and feel and believe is the truth.
