Anxiety

Worrying about what could be

Even before I could just be me

Thinking hundred thoughts ahead

Instead of just staying in my bed

Going out with a mind filled with worry

Only to come back and make my vision blurry

Every statement, scenario and share on a loop

And deciding to never leave the coop

Overthinking every single thing

And things, the next day could bring

Insomnia keeping me up all night

Hoping tomorrow I'll be all right

For the guilt is overpowering

With a thick dark cloud towering

The chest pain not making it easy

Making my stomach churn and uneasy

Eager with no patience making me jumpy

For I can't have life more lumpy

Reassurance after all a must

Before my doubts and fears get to my trust

I just want to stop this weep

And get some shut-eye sleep

When is this misery going to end?

For I just want to be calm and not pretend

Every emotion hidden behind a mask

Don't want anyone to know so don't ask.
