AND THERE GOES...

And there goes...

Another day,

Another night.

Another fight,

Another arguement.

Another question mark,

On the meaning of life.

Another struggle,

To want to live.

Another cry.

Anoher prayer,

“God, let me die!”

And there goes...

Another glance,

At the knife.

Another wish,

To turn back time.

Another dream,

Only to wake up alive.

Another poem,

That I hope someone reads.

That I know no one’ll read.

Another cry,

“Someone help me!”

And there goes...

Another sigh.

Another “Why?”

Another “No reason to stay alive.”

Another smile on the face of a corpse.

Another time I let go of these hopes.

And there goes...

Another cycle,

Of okay, not okay,

Okay, not okay,

Not okay, but pretends to be.

And there goes...

A life not wanted,

Coffee not ordered.

A gift not asked for.

And there goes...

Over and over,

Another phase,

Of blue and gray,

A colourless painting,

Bitter, dark coffee,

drunk from a chipped rim.

And there goes...

Another story untold,

Of the girl who lives.
