I know I have hurt you many times

Said things by which you were undermined

Done things which didn’t please you

I know with these I have hurt you

And I say sorry!

I did not reach there on time

Missed best event of your life

Whatever I did, I was being selfish

Didn’t enjoy whenever you accomplished

I know with these I have hurt you

And I say sorry!

I failed to deliver on your expectations

I left you alone in tough situations

Running away from those conversations

I know it has hampered our relation

And I say sorry!

Spring of ’17, you were quite dejected

I was not there, completely unaffected

Yes, I disrespected and neglected you

I know with these I have hurt you

And I say sorry!

As time passes by, it is ripening me up

Making me more aware about my actions

I realised how not to let relations blow up

And know the importance of it every fraction.

All that has been done can’t be changed

But I promise the future will be changed.

I know with these I have hurt you and I say sorry!
