An Unthinkable Deed

It’s easy to look pretty; but what about integrity?

Letting man-made commodities diminish dignity?

Better to allow your soul to see your true personality,

As you journey through life to find your identity,

Do you think how you are was meant to be?

Or did the outside world influence you to see,

Something that at first sight looked pretty free,

But trapped you in a state of insecurity,

I’m not saying it’s wrong; but moderation you need,

Nowadays it’s important to be careful how you feed,

On what you watch; listen to or even read,

Lest you lead yourself into an unthinkable deed.
