An Emotional Outpour

I see the tender heart exuding

The protruding passions on paper

And the paper becomes wet

When you get emotionally frail





I see the layers peeled up

Sealed in the cage of throbbing ribs

Thoughts ensnared for such long

Liberated in rhymes and songs


I see the depth in words

In the herds of beats and verses

Flying across the prisoned skies

Where wizened poets meet
