8. An Early Sunday Morning Reflection

We intellectualise

We revitalise

Our energy sapped

By the daily demands

That so drain our lives

Wither have time to realise

Incurable romantics

Marches on stoic

In the battle of life

Survive the horrors

Battle scars notwithstanding

Resiliently remain standing

Note: Inspiration from a lazy Sunday morning
