Amidst the ebony night

Was trusting him the aberration or was it just me?

Or was it choosing him at the cost of my tribe.

Or the episodes of reticence which I overlooked for his lassitude ,

Maybe it is this heart that overpowered my mind,

Or this fear of being deprived of him that has kept consuming my existence.

Or the immeasurable depths of passion locked inside his eyes,

Maybe it's the way i was hypnotized by his

voice calling my name,

Or those divine caresses on my bare skin that stranded me in pure bliss.

Or his velvet lips pressed on mine,melting me in winks to surrender ,

Maybe it is the parterre he carefully sketched out with my name,

Or the warm enfoldments that saved me through the freezing winter nights,

Or the invisible parts of him that he hid from the lights.

Maybe it is my ignorance to the details my intuitions kept warning me of,

Or the veiled intentions of his honeyed

gestures that felt surreal ,

Or my comatose perceptions, that trusted him over the whole world.

And being high on serotonin that kept me trapped under his enchantment,

His subterfuge so real ,that kept me blinded to another presence .

His cologne masking the unfamiliar scent soaked in his shirt while we embrace ,

And his breathtaking smiles that have shuddered my reality to the deception ,

The deception that led me to this ebony night far from the chaotic and noisy lands,

Left to cogitate , if this was the price of

loving him or my reward for his betrayal.

Amidst this desolate realm, where I'm falling into infinite vast of this black hole,

The black hole from where my remains might never be found.
