Alone and Obscure!

Alone and obscure

But still strong enough

To survive the storm you brought!

Clouds of misery

Overshadowed the beauty of the dale

And the gale of bittersweet memories

Blew away the moments of joy-

Revealing the seemingly paltry stuff,

Breaking the tranquility of the trees of trust

And bringing in blurred images of the past

Causing emotional instability!

The day took its worst turn-

Deserting glee,

Befriending deceit

And abusing the palette

While filling the colours of disdain

That used the mundane brush

And drew an intangible boundary

Between us!

Alone and obscure

But still bright enough

To survive the darkness you brought!
