seeing me with squinted eyes,

all because i loved a boy.

my privacy invaded.

my mindset-- always deemed cynical.

my comfort zone- waded into.

by the ones, i call mine.

all because i loved a boy.

frowning upon my smallest choices,

all because i loved a boy.

my visionaries dismissed.

my rights-- shown a middle finger to.

my habits-- discussed everywhere.

by the ones themselves, with whom i grew.

all because i loved a boy.

my feelings neglected today,

all because i loved a boy.

my words-- a butt of joke.

my thoughts-- now compelled by however they steer.

even when they say they don't.

my everything is a means of embarrassing me.

and i get back, fall apart. keep going round in circles-- tear after tear.
