All Alone

Departed from family ,

Departed from home ,

Here I am all alone..

It's a very small glass cage.

I don't know which law did I break ?

For which I am being punished at this young age.

In this prison I can just see a little water and a few stones.

But I am badly missing my old peers as there are many things which I can't do it on my own.

I want to run , I want to swim fast ..

And every time I try to do it I bang against the transparent shining glass.

Here I am with few of my own kind.

New family and new friends,

please guide ,how do I find?

People call my home an aquarium.

For me it's a place where I don't have enough space to walk, swim and run.

I was born to add beauty to nature .

But unfortunately I am mourning at my family's departure .

People plan day and night to make their own dwellings.

They change our habitat without even telling.

Here I am far away from nature, where humans want me to shine,

and bring smile on their faces at the cost of my own smile.
