Aksar ye khwab puche hai mujhse

Kya hai jo mera hai

Aksar ye baarish khoje hai mujhme

Ke mann kya kehra hai

Haan ye hawaein, rangeen fizaein

Dhunde hain mujhko, khiche hain mujhko

Tu ab to aaja, in sab se kehde

Ke ye shakhs mera hai. (8)

Tere or mere ateet ka vo sheesha

Tere or mere bhavishya ka bageecha

Yaadon me behra hai

Jaane kya kehra hai

Aaa aaj mai in sab se kehdu

Ke tu mera hai. (6)

Aksar ye raatein khole hai baahein

Ke jaise inse naata gehra hai

Haan aksar ye shaamein khole hain raahein

Ke jaise inse naata gehra hai

Maano ke jaise samai bhi thehra hai

Aur badalon me tera chehra hai

Tu ab to aaja, in sab se kehde

Ke ye shakhs mera hai. (8)

Gulon ki baharein, ye mehfil hazarein

Roothi hain mujhse

Puche hain mujhse

Betha tu kyu akela hai

Aaa aaj mai dikha dun inhe bhi
