Adolescence

Adolescence, the time of change, When life can often seem so strange, A time of growth, discovery, and pain, Where nothing seems to stay the same.

At once, it's full of fear and dread, And wonder at what lies ahead, As teenagers start to forge their way, Towards adulthood, come what may.

Their bodies change, their voices deepen, As adolescence slowly seeps in, A time of awkwardness and uncertainty, A time of hope, and of great diversity.

As they navigate this time of life, They deal with all sorts of strife, From hormonal changes to social strife, They find their feet, as they navigate life.

The adolescent years are a time of change, A time to stretch, to rearrange, Their views of the world and all they know, As they learn to grow and adapt, and take it slow.

As teens learn to balance life's demands, They start to chart their own commands, And while it may seem a little scary, They know that change is necessary.

They're discovering who they are, And in that discovery, they find a star, That guides them on their path ahead, As they find the way to their life's bed.

In adolescence, everything is heightened, From emotions to choices, everything's enlightened, And while it may seem hard to bear, The experience itself can lead to repair.

It's a time when relationships are made, And they learn to navigate the shade, Of friendship, love, and all that's true, As they search for answers, in everything they do.

Adolescence is a time of great discovery, As teens explore their newfound identity, Their minds expand, their hearts take flight, As they discover new paths, in the light.

It's a time of growth, of change, and of renewal, As they find their place, as an individual, And they start to find their way, To who they will be, come what may.

As they move through adolescence, They learn to embrace their independence, And to find their own voice, And to make choices that are their own, by choice.

They learn to be true to themselves, And to live life with grace and health, And they find the strength to pursue, Their dreams, no matter what's in view.

Adolescence is a time to explore, To discover what they're truly for, To find their passions and their drive, And to create a life they will thrive.

It's a time of introspection, Of learning, growth, and connection, And they discover their own resilience, As they move through adolescence.

Adolescence is a time of great beauty, Full of moments of joy and duty, As they learn to love and to be loved, And to navigate the complexities of life above.

They face the challenges of the world, And they learn to be resilient and unfurled, As they embrace their own truth, And to stand strong, no matter the youth.

Through adolescence, they will grow, And learn to embrace all life has to show, And though it can be a bumpy ride, They find their own path, to glide.

In adolescence, they discover, Who they truly are, and uncover, The power within themselves to soar, And to make the world something to adore.

As they move towards adulthood, They find the strength to understand, That life can be both scary and grand, And they can navigate its complexity, with their own hand.

So embrace the journey, of adolescence, And all that it has to dispense, And know that as you move through this phase, You will emerge, stronger in so many ways.
