5th September 2008,

Saw u sitting in the lab.

That was my first day in the College,

You were randomly going through the Tab.

Two months later I proposed you,

While going home in Train.

You felt shocked and embarrassed,

As we were with our college friends.

You took time on your own,

And tried to know me more.

Finally, you said YES on 05th December 2008,

The day when my happiness knew no boundary any more.

YOU were the most precious thing,

I got in the same Year.

When I lost my ONLY friend my DAD,

I was down with grief and fear.

You filled up the blank,

In my lonely life.

I made up my mind,

That I will definitely make you my wife.

Days were passing by,

We faced a number of storms.

But we knew that we have to face these things,

In relationships, these are just the basic norms.

Finally, after a lot of hiccups,

1st December 2019, we tied the knot.

We dreamt of these moments since our college days,

We cried that first night, how could we have forgot.

The most memorable moment was at Goa,

Where we lived our life like there’s no day left to die.

We enjoyed every second of those moments,

Our happiness and joy were on all-time high.

Days were passing by,

One by one.

We achieved everything,

And our grief was none.

But one thing that bothered me,

That you were leaving out someone from my life.

You knew, that lady has no-one except me,

And she has happily accepted you as my wife.

The more I tried to convince you,

To take care of her.

The more you took a stance,

And tried to took me away from her.

You too have your parents,

Even both of them alive.

How could you ask me to leave my MAA,

And move on with you in life.

The day when you asked me that,

I fall from the sky,

Is this the lady I loved?

This thought just forced me to die.

I don’t have anyone in my life,

Except my mother and sis.

I was happy to bring you in my life,

But not to see a day like this.

The matter became worse,

When you left home with a lie,

I was shattered to see that,

Because you left me in my worst time alone and left me there to die.

I prayed you to come back again,

Told you that we’d sort things on our own.

But your family made the matter worse,

And you left me all alone.

You took the decision to speak up,

But that too not with me.

You stood in the meeting in front of the unknown faces,

I never in my life imagined, I’d live this day to see.

You tore me apart,

Limb by limb, my heart was bleeding.

I sat there with my head down,

And thinking whether it was at all needed.

You did all these,

Just because I didn’t leave my mother.

Is this reason being enough,

To leave someone after 14 years being together.

I broke down completely,

I was shattered out.

You left no choice for me,

But I can’t leave my mother, without a shadow of doubt.

Finally, you decided to move on,

You sent me a letter.

And the next day I saw you with someone else,

I just want to ask you; did you feel so better?

I was shocked to see you smiling,

Just like during our college days.

That smile is for someone else now,

But I will love you always.

One day you will realize,

That you left me for no good reason.

I wish you all the very best dear,

Wish you get your love in this very season.

But before ending just here,

I would want to tell you the last thing in this life.

I married you with all my soul,

You were, are and will remain my only Wife.

I will not consider myself a DIVORCEE,

I will not let people blame you because you LIED.

I will consider myself a WIDOWER,

Whose lovely beautiful wife has just DIED.
